Welcome to Meeksville was a 50th anniversary arts event which celebrated the release of Joe Meek and the Tornadoes no.1 hit Telstar.

The Lost Sound Project reimagined the Meek back catalogue taking 588 short samples and remixing them in an hour long set.

Using only sampling machines and studio effects to produce the work evoked an ethos which reflected Meek's DIY approach to production.
